Fitness and strength coach

Arian Fadakar

MSc in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. I have trained for years and coached for years; ARVENRA is where I write down what that has taught me, plainly.

MSc in Exercise Physiology.

Coaching credentials: Fitness Coaching — Bodybuilding Federation; Functional Fitness Coaching — IFPE, Germany; Level 4 Bodybuilding Coaching — EREPS, the European Register of Exercise Professionals.

Background: twenty years of training in bodybuilding, fitness, wushu, kung fu and self-defence. Eight years of coaching, with experience of working with more than a thousand athletes.

Focus: weight loss using current scientific methods, weight gain and muscle building, and improving body composition. Most people who come to me want one thing — to reach a body composition they are comfortable in and can hold on to.

Where I work: ugym, Shahrak-e Gharb, Tehran.

Why this site exists

Over these eight years I have seen the same pattern again and again: people take on punishing diets to reach the weight they want, last a few weeks, fail, and conclude that the problem is their own willpower.

The problem is not their willpower. The problem is that they were sold something that was never going to last.

Behind that sits a larger problem. In Persian-language spaces everyone says something, usually with great confidence, and almost nobody says where it came from. The result is an ocean of scattered information that leaves people more confused than they started — and in that confusion are people who make a living from it.

That is why I built this site: current knowledge in exercise and nutrition, from credible scientific sources, in plain and usable language — and above all, saying where each statement came from.

So every claim on this site is attached to its source, and you can go and check it yourself. And so, wherever the evidence is not settled, that is what we write — even when a confident answer would sell better.

How I work

  • I simplify the science; I don't dilute it

Simplifying does not mean dropping the limits of a finding. Where the evidence is not settled, I say so.

  • I explain why, not just what

The aim is that you understand what you are doing and why — not that you follow a list of exercises.

  • I avoid claims I cannot support

Guaranteed results, cures for illness and miracle shortcuts have no place in this work.

  • I fit the plan to your actual life

The best programme on paper is worthless if it does not fit the circumstances you actually live in.

How each article is written

  1. Reviewing the evidence

It starts with the existing research, systematic reviews and position stands from recognised scientific bodies — not a single study.

  2. Simplifying without distorting

Findings are rewritten in clear language, but the limits and the conditions under which they hold are not quietly dropped.

  3. Turning knowledge into action

It ends by saying what this actually changes about your training or the way you eat.
